500 Potential New Jobs in Lamar
The city of Lamar may be one step closer to pulling out of the recession thanks to a Texas company. Polymer-Wood Technologies has purchased the old O'Sullivan plant on Gulf Street in Lamar and plans to hire hundreds of new positions. The company makes residential and fire-rated commercial doors. The plant is set to open in fall of 2010 with about 100 jobs, building up to almost 500 jobs over the next few years.
